Sharon E. Bellwood

Founder/Author

has been involved with promoting inclusion of the disability community for much of her life. Growing up with a mother who was a wheelchair user, she learned effective and supportive advocacy efforts at an early age. This led to a career as an advocate for people with disabilities through direct services and broader efforts effecting systems change. She is currently active in promoting awareness and competency on disability related issues through writing and consulting. Sharon makes her home in Greenville, SC and can be reached at sharon@southernribbonspress.com

Cheryl Johnson

Illustrator

has always been “the people’s artist”. After studying art at
the University of South Carolina, she made a career of providing interesting and compelling displays in the retail market. Her work created attention drawing environments and provided effective marketing tools. Since leaving the retail market, Cheryl continues to devote herself to her artistic pursuits and was recently a key contributor to the 2018 Piccolo Spoleto Festival through an exhibit entitled “A Dialogue in Black and White”. She also shares her time and talents as an advocate in a senior livingcommunity bringing creative and innovative way to promote community inclusion and healthy expression through art. Cheryl makes her home in Beaufort, SC and can be reached at cheryl@southernribbonspress.com.
